When asked, “Why do you work so hard?” he responded, “It’s because many people are complacent and comfortable in their routines. They’re not willing to push their boundaries or step out of their comfort zones. Winning becomes easier when you’re willing to do what others won’t.”

It’s true many people find it difficult to wake up early, say at 5 AM. They prefer the comfort of their beds over the potential productivity of the early hours. However, if you can overcome this hurdle and start your day early, you’re already ahead. You have more time to get things done, and you’re likely to be more focused and productive. This is why he believes in the power of rising early — it’s a simple yet effective strategy for success.

Winning someone over in today’s society can be easier because many people are not willing to put in the extra hours to work hard and push themselves and sharpen their minds.

Mastering your own mind is not a simple task. Even if you’re able to gain control in some areas, there are still other aspects where you need to assert your dominance. Life is multifaceted, and you need to stay active and conscious in multiple areas, not just remain passively aware. You must also actively build and create.

This is a challenging task, but those who can do this are able to win over a large number of people. It’s not just about being able to sit through a long video or read a lengthy article. It’s about having the patience to persistently work through a problem until it’s solved, or being willing to review the same material multiple times to gain a deeper understanding and uncover new insights. In essence, a long attention span is about persistence, patience, and a willingness to delve deeper into the subject matter.

But, to win:

  • Be passionate about what you do. When you’re passionate about something, it’s easier to stay motivated and focused. You’re also more likely to put in the extra effort and make sacrifices necessary to achieve your goals.
  • Be willing to take risks. There’s no such thing as guaranteed success. If you want to achieve something great, you’re going to have to take some risks. This may mean stepping outside of your comfort zone, trying new things, or putting yourself out there in a vulnerable way.
  • Be resilient. There will be setbacks along the way. You’re not going to succeed at everything you do. But if you’re resilient, you’ll be able to bounce back from setbacks and keep moving forward.
  • Be grateful. When you’re grateful for what you have, it’s easier to stay positive and motivated. It also helps you to focus on the good in life, even when things are tough.
